yea, i'm measureing a varying voltage line that is around 0v-15v DC, the chip reading can only measure 0v-5v. I need to scale it down so that it can be read. Somebody mentioned OP AMPs, but I'm not entirely familiar with them.
Use a 5K pot across your input voltage and ground.· Connect the wiper to the ADC input.· Set your input voltage for 15 volts - or the max - and adjust the pot until you get 254-255 for an 8-bit, 1023-1024 for a 10-bit or 4094-4095 for a 12-bit.
