Alternate Programming Languages? C++, ASM

Brand new BS2 user here.

Is the Parallax Basic language the only programming language supported for the BS2? Is there a way to use C++ or Assembly?

    Not on the BASIC Stamps, but if you really prefer assembly you could move to the SX Microcontroller or the Propeller.· If you really crave C, there is a compiler for the SX.

    Yes, the Parallax PBASIC Stamp can only be programmed in PBASIC, a variant of Dartmouh Basic. PBASIC is an inrerpretive language, so there are no assemblers or other compilers available, nor will there ever be. PBASIC is quite powerful, once you understand it fully.
