Hi All,
Just assembling my boe bot for the first time.
is there a reason you couldnt mount the servos on a boe-bot backwards.
It would give you a little more wheelbase, and give you access to the servo centering port..

No real technical reason why you couldn't (recognizing that it will be opposite)... the reason why they recommend you do it that way is to keep the wheels closest to the center allowing the BOEbot to turn on it's own axis.

There's no problem doing that at all.· If you look at chapter 8, Activity #3, in the Robotics with the boe bot text,·you will see the Boe-Bot has the servo's on backward.· I even personaly think it's better when there on backward because of all the things you just said.· So I say, go ahead. smile.gif
