Hi,
Facing a peculiar problem. Javelin Stamp chip (USB version) was working perfectly, then when I want to re program the stamp, it says "timeout error". Tried out on another chip, changed power supply, did a "test connection" from javelin IDE, everything looks fine, but no program can be downloaded. tried by increasing the "timeout time" from COM port setting, decreasing the number of bits transmitted per second, nothing works. Interesting thing is when I try on a new chip , it let me download once but never again. The program that I am using is quite large (though within limits) and has lot of spaghety code going around.
This is the response I get when I am doing a test connection :
Found connected javelin chip, now testing for power
ressetting
TSXComm query status
TSXComm send command(1)
JAVELIN FOUND ON COM6
Please help me...

Currently I am working on a Gateway laptop, with windows XP professional 2002 version, the specification is:
Intel pentium III, 696 mhz, 256 mb of ram.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks,
If possible disconnect anything from the javelin I/O pins
(best if you can plug javelin in unused javelin demoboard)
regards peter
Will try this.
