Serial LCD object for Seetron LCD's.

After a few hours using LED's for·debugging, which is nice and simple, I would like to move forward and use the Serial LCD object, but its commands·suit the Parallax LCD.
Would it be possible for somebody to massage it to suit the 4x20 Seetron LCD's ?
I'm·trying not to·be lazy, I just dont understand the object side of things well enough yet to make the changes myself, as there are 4 files involved in running that object, which is a bit deep for me at present.
But I'm not so scared of this thing any more, and its not that hard to get started with, even for me !!!
Any help appreciated.
