Hi I'm new to this kind of thing and I am supposed to wire a photo resistor circuit and program it in my bot to sense black area with a thin white guideline to stay within, I have the circuit wired but I am having trouble figuring out how to program it right....someone please help all i need is the basic code to run it properly and declare it·properly in the program..

Also What should I do with the pin layout? say for example I start at PIN 1 should I run the circuit back to that pin or to a different one....say PIN 2???

Check out chapter 18 in the StampWorks manual. It shows a circuit with a photo resistor and describes how to interact with it.

There are also photoresistor examples in What's a Microcontroller·(Chapter 7) and Robotics with the Boe-Bot·(Chapter 6).· Follow the links to download the PDFs.· Since the Robotics with the Boe-Bot demonstrates examples of robotic navigation with photoresistors, you may find it useful for your project.·
