USB2SER & Propeller

What·would be·the suggested sequence of connecting the USB2SER to the Propeller chip?

I'm thinking that it should be:

Connecting the USB2SER:
1. Demo Board powered off (I'm using a Home Brew Demo Board)
2. Plug USB2SER into Demo Board
3. Plug the mini USB cable into the USB2SER
4. Wait for XP to acknowledge the USB2SER (drivers pre-installed of course).
5. Power up Demo Board.

Disconnecting the USB2SER:
1. Power down Demo Board.
2. Remove mini USB cable from USB2SER
3. Un-Plug the USB2SER from the Demo Board (I'm using a Home Brew Demo Board)
4. Power up Demo Board.

I've never used the USB2SER before so I am unsure of how forgiving it is in connecting it to external devices like the Propeller.

Don't worry, it's very forgiving -- if it was going to Smile-out, I would have made that happen by now as I've been quite unkind at times to my USB2SER.

I'll try to remember proper power up/down sequences, but then there's always the oops factor! Good to know it pretty robust.
