Not sure about PING ))

In short, will the PING)) work through glass?
An Example:· A PING)) is pressed against the back window of my Jeep; pointed somewhat down and out.
Will it return accurate distances of any car or truck that's behind me?
I'm thinking not, which leads me to·my next question:
How do I make a PING)) unit pertty much imprevious to outside weather & temp?

No, it's an acoustic signal and the glass will reflect/deflect the pulse.· You would need to mount it outside the car (as many manufacturers are now doing).
