    KK,

    Your item:

    00002 LM2937IMP-3.3CT-ND....IC 3.3V 500MA LDO VREG SOT223.................................1.83000 $3.66

looks to be surface mount, if your using a Bread Board you might want a TO-220 package

Mike.. you were right... that's been fixed... is everything else ok?
I plan on mounting like you did, on a perf board, and then using the bread borad for devlopment... I'll add other perf boards for things like ps2 connectors, tv, rca and vga and other outputs...
Oh, yes, and thanks for taking a look and the fast reply!

    KK,

Without researching every component..... your list looks to be correct. the SOT description on that one part caught my eye, especially when I saw the bread board item.

did you mean to order 4.7K or 4.7 ohm.· You have 4.7 ohm in your list.

I think you want OD472J-ND but they don't seem to have stock on that part.

4.7KQBK-ND is an alternative and should work fine for pullup resistors.· A little bit cheaper than the carbon comp also $.054 each or $3.82 for 200

My board has a DB9 connector just like the PropStick.· Will this work with the USB to Serial Adapter, Parallax P/N 800-00030, that I use with my Stamps?

    Sid,

I use a FDTI biased USB to serial adapter (generic version of the one Parallax sells, same USB to serial chip) with my HBPDB and it works fine.

However my discrete programmer is transistor biased and the PropStick has a MAX-3232 level shifter.

I would strongly suspect that there would be NO PROBLEMS using the Parallax version of the USB to serial adapter with the PropStick.
