Parallax USB Oscilloscope - 40-volt attenuation feature

I was looking through the help file in the current Parallax USB Oscilloscope software (4.0). Is this just out dated information or is it supported? If it's supported where can I find info on this circuit. Clicking on the link 'Optimum Designs Inc.' takes you to the Parallax USB Oscilloscope page.
"The 40-volt attenuation feature requires additional hardware between the OPTAscope and the probes. This circuitry can be purchased from Optimum Designs Inc."
Also noticed the 4 pin SX header (J1)·inside the scope. Is the current firmware for this scope still 2.0.7?
·
Thanks,

The 40V hardware was never developed and the comment in the software was to be removed.· How ever you can use this feature by adding a 1M ohm resistor in series with the oscilloscope probe.·
·
2.0.7 is the latest firmware for the hardware.··No·updates.·
·
I hope this answers your questions.·
