hii all, its my first time join in this forum, i have an project need to build, i want to build an digital oscilloscope, the max freq that measure and display in LCD is about 20 MHZ, that you think using sx48bd is a good choice because the main clock about 75 MHZ?, and wich C compiler is best for sx48bd?, can you give me an reference that i can learn?, one more where i can buy that IC, because this Uc not sale on my country, can i buy from parallax website?, help me please, and thanks before..... confused

    It would be wonderful to tell you that C for the Sx is easy and cheap to come by, but the $100USD version from CCS has been slow to come out.· It may be here in a week or month.· You might take a look at ByteCraft.

    I would like to try·C and even have gotten started with studying C for its debut.Try searching the Forum for 'C programing' to evaluate the situation for yourself.

    In the interim, you have alternatives.· SX/B is a Basic compiler for the SX and SASM is the assembler.· Both are free.·

    The real question is how you want to create the Analog-to-Digital portion.· You can easily select from ADC chips and use the SX via SPI or I2C.
