Can anyone point me to a general elecronics forum for hobbyists?· I have queations about things like function generators and universal counters that really aren't appropriate here but can't find any place that isn't manufacturer based.

The Electronics 101 Yahoo group seems pretty active - about 45 messages per day groups.yahoo.com/group/Electronics_101/

Tahnks so much. This looks like it might help. I am irritated with myself that I didn't find this. I serached Yahoo Groups but didn't turn this up...loose nut on the keyboard, I guess.

Your welcome. There are a lot of Electronics groups on Yahoo - but many are not active and others are just full of SPAM. The Electronics 101 group seems to stay on topic and there are some knowledgeable folks there.
