Parallax Tri-Axis Accelerometer Module

From the information on the web, I find that the·SPI communication uses 3 pins only.hop.gif They are /CS, CLK and DIO. The DIO pin is bi-directional.·It mentioned that requiring the CLK and DIO pins may be shared in systems requiring the use of more than one H48C module. It seems to me this configuration is·daisy chain. From the datasheet of MCP3204, it does not mention whether it supports daisy chain or not ? Can anyone tell me how the serial communication in the Parallax Tri-Axis Accelerometer Module work ??

You would not be daisy-chaining, you would be hanging the modules from a common buss. The only pin not common, of course, is the CS\ -- you need one pin per device to control CS\ on the module. If you're using more than one device, you would activate the desired device with its CS\ pin, then use the common Dio and Clk pins for communications. The deselected modules will tri-state their Dio pins and have no effect on the buss.
