Any suggestions for AC to DC convertor to power a STAMP project. The smaller the better. This is something I will want to mount on the board, ie internal not external
Thanks in advance

We would need more info.
Output(s), Voltage/Amperage requirements????
Physical size restraint???

I am wanting this to be under 1''x1''x0.500''
Thank you
The typical solution to this is a transformer driving a full-wave rectifier driving a 7805 linear regulator, with a few capacitors added. Another solution is a small switching power-supply.
If you're going to connect it to AC anyway, there's going to be a cord, anyway, so you might as well use a 'wall-wart' supply to provide 7.5 to 12 volts DC, and use an on-board linear regulator (about 1/2" x 1") to regulate down to +5 volts. And Parallax sells very nice, reasonably priced ($8 or so) wall-wart supplies.
