recommend a board

Hi.

I have now got control of my Parallax Servo Controller and it works perfect.
Now I need a board to turn things on and off.
I have a Velleman k8056 but there seem to be a delay before it react on a signal and its relays is rather big just for turning 3.15 v on and off.

So can anyone recommend a board that I can control with RS232 only(or with a RS232-IF232 like with the PSC)
so I can turn things on and off with no lag/delay(like the PSC).
I would be nice if there were transistors instead of big relays becouse even the relays give a smal lag/delay when they switch.

Part of the delay could be in the RS-232.
It seems you have to first encode, then decode before something actually happens.

For 3.15 volts, couldn't you use a FET and one I/O pin?
You could still run it over two wires to another location.

    I guess it could work.

    Thanks.

There is no delay when I use the PSC so its not the RS232.

    FET could be ok.
Is the I/O pin on 5v?

    Hello.

I have just got my Velleman k8056 to work and react on control signals but the delay on switch is way to long.

I read that DC-16 work in 38400 baud like the PSC and that is good, but what about the delay.

Is the DC-16 Board as fast as the PSC in reaction time from control code?
