CAN anyone help me to tell me the way of using Ping ultrasonic sensor in PIC16f

Hello everybody ,
························· I am new in Parallax.i am from bangladesh .
while i am searching for Sensors, I found this site and bought 5 pcs of sensor . I have only 1 month left to complete my project . I want to know How can i use ping sensors in PIC 16f84a .
Because PULSEOUT and PULSE in is used in Basicstamp. Its really easy to connect .
But , please tell me if anyone have a idea how to use it in PIC and what will be the coding to measure the distance of the object .
Please Help me .

I hope you aren't brand new to Pic's. Otherwise, you are on a tight time schedule because you need a programmer, programming software, and time for fairly heavy learning curve. If I were in your situation I'd prefer to use a Stamp rather than an old 16F84a.

If you want free software, you have to learn their Assembly language.
If you want to buy Basic Software for the PIC, you will find it cheaper to just buy a BasicStamp and use Paralax's free software.
{I think the PIC Basic software cost about $100USD or more. The BasicStamps start at less the $50 - see the OEM BasicStamp2.}
So, it is really a question of time or money. Either way, the PIC is going to require more of one of them.
