Well,
first of all thank you for taking the time to read this, I am new to this forum and I am very grateful I found it. My knowledge of electronics is very, very basic and for that reason I am looking for one of the many talented people in this forum to help me out to build the following:
My project requires controlling 4 servos or 4 solenoids (to be determined) using one of the parallax rf keychain transmiters. The activation needs to come from one channel only, so the controlling board has to be capable of activating the relays in sequence (one per push) using the transmitter.
Between the activation of every relay I need a delay feature in case I press the button of the transmitter before I am suposse to. This safety feature can be of 12 seconds delay.
The unit will have to work using a 12 Volt battery, if I decide to go with the rc servos I will need something to be able to use the same 12v battery that controls the board, to power the servos at 5 or 6V, If I go with the solenoids then I guess that they make these to work at 12V. I will need some advice on the use of solenoids, since I don't know which one to use, and I am not very familiar with them.
I think that this can be done using the prop 1 controller board by parallax, but I am not pretty sure .
Besides making this thing for me I will need to have the process explained to me, so I can make the following unit. Neither to say that I will pay for the time and effort you guys spend on this project.
I know that this is cake for most of the bright engeniers here, so please take the time to send me an email to carlos@damainquieta.com and maybe we can come to an agreement.
Thanks for your time and consideration. ·
