I have looked through the forums and all the docs I can get my hands on. Still I cant figure out how to ge tmy project going.

I am using the parallax 4x20 Backlit LCD and a BS2px. I am new to this stuff and really havent found that much support on the actual WIRING of the two. The LCD came connecteed to the Matrix Orbital thing. There are two 4pin plugs on the back, I assume I go into the center two of one and the outer two of the other, see attached. If anyone has working code and or a wiring diagram it would be much appriciated.

Thanks
Joe

Thanks for the quick reply. I went to MatrixOrbital.com but the documents I found there had a 9pin connector where the 4point connector is on my module. I went to the http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=30058 link and there is no sample code there. I did find sample code at http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=27979 . I assume that code should work. When I ran Serial_LCD_Demo.BS2 I get an undefined symbol on the "LcdBaud CON T19K2" line. My lcd is powered up and I have the TX wired up to P0. Am I missing something? Seems this should work.

I don't know what version of the demo program you're running, but it's probably for the Parallax LCD, not the Matrix Orbital. I've not personally used the M.O. displays myself -- you may want to call our Tech Support team in the morning for assistance.
