eb500 pin-out

Just wondering about the pin-out of the Bluetooth eb500 module. The documentation specifies that only only 9 pins are required (pins 1,2,3,5,6 to the stamp), but if plugged into the BOE header ALL 20 pins are connected. Now, if other pins (say, pins 7-15) are used for unrelated connections (sensors etc.) on the breadboard, could there be any harm done to the eb500? If so, does that mean that the header connection on the BOE can only be used if nothing else is connected to it?
Any clarification would be very much appreciated,
Frank

·· Even though all 20 pins are plugged into the board, only those used by the module are affected.· You can use the others from the main I/O socket without issue.· On the EB500, besure your power supply does not put out more than 12V MAX.· If it is unregulated, it could put out more and damage your EB500.
