Playatation controller buttons and d-pad

I am working on a robot base and arm controller and i was wonderning if anybody knew how to get the data when a button is pressed on the playstation controller. I have found information on how to get data from the left and right joystick and buttons in them, not nothing about the res of the buttons. - Adam
