play midi's?

Would it be possible for me to hook up a speaker to my homework board to play midi files or something easier on the ear than piezo speaker music? Also, if I purchased something like a speakjet in the future could i play music through it or is it strictly for speaking?

    No, but you could connect to a MIDI instrument and have it play things for you. Check out our Nuts & Volts columns for a couple of how-to articles.
