What circuit can you use to program a 24LC16B eeprom directly from the computer's serial port?

Well well, I'm seeing things, three of them.

    · Maybe there's an EEPROM/EPROM/NVRAM Programmer out there that gets connected to the serial port.· The easiest way for somebody to provide a link for one is for me to write that there aren't any (so, consider that done.)

    · I have a USB EEPROM/EPROM/NVRAM Programmer and one that works from the parallel port.

How about a BS2?· Seriously...When you program the BASIC Stamp from the PC Serial Port you are downloading data into the EEPROM which is a 24LC16B.· You could easily hook one up to the BASIC Stamp and write a program to transfer data from the serial port to the EEPROM but I would use a slow baud rate since it takes time to write the data to an EEPROM and the BASIC Stamp has no FIFO Buffers.
