A wonderful SX28 board with USB, EPROM and 24 volt drivers - Where?

A box of goodies arrived from Parallax today, including my HP Printer kit.
I was very surprised by the enclosed board as it has an SX-Key interface along with several other features -· 24volt outputs to 12 lines, USB input, an on-board EPROM, dual power supply, i/o to a BasicStamp.
Simply, it is open to reprograming.
I am sure I haven't properly figured it all, but if I ever get tired of Inkjet interface, the board offers numerous other possilbilties and just may be worth many hours of hacking.
And of course, you have the Inkjet too.
I didn't realize that it was so involved either.· It seems that you can't just fire away with dots as they aerodynamically interfer with each other, so they only fire in distant pairs.

My first impression was to trade out that 24volt switcher with another lower voltage chip at some point, but I doubt I will ever do it. I am really enjoying the HP Inkjet more than I originally thought I would. I'd prefer to keep it intact.
I am pleased to see the SX/B code for it is included. This provides insight in how to combine serveral functions into a working whole. It is a model for transfering data from your PC to EEPROM through a USB interface too.
If you need 12 outputs at a high voltage [a fireworks display? Building your own gigantic dot matrix printer using markers and selinoids? a jumpy critter for Halloween?] and can use one serial i/o for control in addition to the USB port to download sequences- there is no reason to DIY a board, just adapt this.
I am certain to learn a lot from it.
