what single chip·could be used to log entry from a 4x4 keypad and stored for later retrieval

just plan and simple logging thats all

    This question is coming up a lot lately. Class project? You'll want to use some sort of EEPROM to protect the data in the event of a power loss, but the size you'll have to decide based on your program's requirements. If it was just a few entries, you could use the Stamp's EEPROM with WRITE and READ.

    yeah my friend gave me this site...

    its no mass storage just few logging how would i make this work

    I would love to see the class syllabus. Can you post it? Sometimes it helps me learn to go thought tasks this way. It is how I learned HTML.
    Looks like there is code in this book
    Microcontroller Projects Using The Basic Stamp (2nd Edition)
    they have a Morse Code reader and eeprom logger. Anyone have the book and can verify?
