I know that most of the action is on the Propeller front, but is there an update on the approximate date for the availability of C compiler and the SX/28 development board? I need to budget for some stuff at school for the next budget cycle.....
Thanks,
Jim

    Jim,

I don't have an actual date, but I sent a bunch of notes/suggestions to CCS with a beta version of the SX-Key IDE a couple of weeks ago. They are working on their end to implement some improvments/changes as well as test the beta I sent them. After that, I'm sure they'll send something back to me and with any luck, we might be ready to go with this thing. Then again, I might have some work to do. Keep your digital fingers crossed.
      Thanks, PeterM

Got my C Manual [that 2nd Edition by Kernighan & Richie]·in the mail yesterday from Amazon. Ready and waiting.

Still I find with Basic I usually read the text when I want to do something, while with C I am looking at the text whenI need to fix something.· It is a bit more abstract.
