Thought you would all get a kick out of this one.... see attached

Is it the red wire that is 5v and the yellow that is 12v?

I know now.

    As long as I have been into electronics, I have often heard the term "Magic Smoke". It looks as if you may have let it out. Once its gone it doesn't work anymore.jumpin.gif

    I thought the voltage regulator had a thermal shutdown!

    Isn't the IC supposed to get hot and slide off the Stamp?
