Whatt is the easiest to hack, cheapest and most compatible GPS system with the BS2? Are there some books on GPS robots?

Has a RS-232 Level Shifter is installed, outputs NMEA data once powered up @ 4800,8,N,1.
It needs an external active antenna such as this:

You will need to resolve the connector differences but that shouldn't be a big issue.
