I just read the manual for HB-25 motor controller. Though I am not familiar with Basic Stamp programming, It seems that in example source code, the width fo the input pulse is order of 100 millisecond instead of 1.5 or 2 millisecond as listed in specifications.
Could anybody explain this anamoly? or is it that I am misreading source code?

Which program were you looking at? The docs have BS1 and BS2 code. PULSOUT on the BS1 is in 10 uS increments, on the BS2, 2 uS increments. And the BS1 program is using Mode 1 communications which don't require the same refreshing as a servo.

    Di,

And the HB-25's input pulse is 1-2ms, just like a servo. 1.5 ms is center. The only difference between managing an HB-25 and a servo is that the HB-25 doesn't need continual pulses every 15-30 ms - only when you want to change the motor speed: set it and forget it.
