Has anyone developed a source code and wiring schematic for the X10 PL513
power line Interface? If someone has I would appreciate getting some information.
Thank You
Guido

If you want to send commands via the PL513 you can use the BS2's XOUT command. The manual/help file shows the connections.

    Jon,
I apologize for not completly stating what I need. I was wondering if there is any information for receiving X10 signals and having the Stamp Interpret them. I do realaize I can use the X10 command for transmitting signals. It seems the only thing I can find is an RF X10 circuit which I have used.
    Thank You

    Guido -

Here is one method that you may find interesting, thanks to Al Williams:

Yeah, the Firecracker is a 'send only' device.

The problem with recieving X10 signals with the PL513 is that it produces relatively primitive signals, which I don't believe the BS2 is clever enough to interpret.

Now, X10 does make a serial "Computer Interface", which you should be able to hook up to a BS2 and use "SERIN" to interpret its signals. But i've not seen a wiring example for it.

    Allan,
Thank you for the information. It is to bad there is nothing really out there for this. I will check out what you are talking about at X10.
    Thank You Again

Xout has no way to input data does it? Can the BS2P24 talk to x10 without the xout command? It would be nice if the stamp could get feedback from the pl/tw and not lockup if it gets unplugged.
