Reasonably Priced PCB Design Software

I've been making PCB's for my Stamp projects by using dry transfers on PC boards, and then etching them. I would like to move up to a reasonably priced software program to lay out the design. Any suggestions, especially from folks who are actually using software would be appreciated.

How·does free sound? I would suggest going to http://www.expresspcb.com They have free software for schematic and board design and thier prices are reasonable.

Oh wait, you want to do the etching. You may be able to print something to scale from the program.

If that doesn't work, http://www.cadsoft.de has another free program for layout that has a scale box in the print dialog. The program is a little more difficult to work with than the expresspcb software.

I use ExpressPCB software to generate the masters for toner transfer for my circuitboards. It requires changing the default colors, making a print screen which is copied into other software for sizing. I copy into Microsoft Word. I use the free software IrfanView to edit the print screen. But that's not required.

Look at Robotroom.com for more details.
