Hello, Im new to this product line and was looking for a bit of help.
I build models and would like to add sound
I would like to be able to record short 2-5 second sounds to a sound module. I would like the sound module to be multi adress so I can load a few sounds. (3-8) I would also like the sound module to run on 3-9 volts and be small enough that it can be installed in practically any model.
I was shown a product a while ago and was told it was called Chip on Board. It was no bigger than my thumb nail and held 4 5 second sounds and supposedly could hold more. The power supply was 3 volts and drove a 1.5" speaker. This would be perfect for me, however I have not been able to figure out the proper search term to locate the technology that allows me to do it my self.
Is this something the paralax products do?
Thanks in advance

I just checked on their site, but could not find it... if you call them, they may remember it and can hopefully point you in the right direction.

I guess I really need to spend some time reading the basics before I jump into advanced questions.
I see the projects here are quite advanced for my skill level. Is there a chip maker for hire section here?
This however was one of the chips I was supplied that had 4 addresses . The maker scratched the writing off the chip
And This is the one that was the COB. The maker did not write their name on the board, but it is also multi address.
I found it here... http://www.electronickits.com/kit/complete/audi/a63.htm
I hope this is what you were thinking about
