Can the PC give the stamp commands

I'm wondering weather or not the BS2sx will take commands from my PC. What I mean is, can I have my PC program tell the stamp to pulsout, and how long to pulsout for, according to my programs' simulation results ?

    Yes, in fact there's a project in Al Williams' BASIC Stamp book that shows how to do just that.

    Essentially, the BASIC Stamp sits on a SERIN waiting for a code from the PC.· When a code is received it is interpreted and acted upon by the BASIC Stamp.
