storing a value from a photoresistor

say i want to store a value that a photoresistor is putting out at the instant i push a push button that is connected to the bs2. so i can recall the variable the number is stored in later, what command could do that? or is this possible? thanks.

    never mind i got it, i used the write read functions. sorry.

    If you don't need the value to be saved when the program is restarted you can simply keep it in a variable.
