coupled with an add-on gearbox, you can get over 2000 in/oz of torque from a standard size servo.

If it is for position and power, a stepper motor may give you more with a direct link rather than leverage.
If it is for rotational power, there are a lot of brushed and brushless motors with gearboxes that can be taylored to your needs.
These servos are not really true 'industrial servos' and are generally considered 'hobby servos'. They make building quickly within a limited size range considered to be mostly for hobby use.
These other units not only offer more direct power, they offer the appropriate sized output shaft and bearings to make them last under greater loads.
