SX Video board DIM settings

Just purchased SX Video. Using with BS2. My overlay text appears dim compared to the demo videos. I've powered down (disconnect) moved the switch and don't see a difference.··Maybe I didn't hold my mouth the right way... rolleyes.gif
Of course, I think I have a very interesting application but I'll not tell yet. hop.gif

Thanx

Dan

    Dan,

·· Have you tried adjusting the intensity?

It appears that you are refering to the SX Video OSD module·and not the original SX video module.

I have both and never noticed differences in brightness. Can you post your code or better yet post a video clip?

If you are refering to the OSD module, try it with and without a video source and let us know your findings.

Also check out my customer application at www.sxvm.com·- 1/2 way down.

    Thanks.

Chris is right. Turn the intensity adjustment it is probably all the way down. The overlay is quite bright when it's turned the whole way up. In fact on some TV's it causes "tearing" of the screen when it's up the whole way.

The "DIM" switch is to dim the background so you can see the white text on a white video image.
