Parallax Internet Netburner Kit

I'm trying to create a program with the stamp that can import text from a web page and transmit it to a text-to-speech module. Right now all I have found is the Parallax Internet Netburner Kit. Would this work for my project, and is there a better or less expensive method of doing this?

    The pink is probably the best solution at this point, but an "old school" solution is using MicroWebServ BSE

    You can download the file from there site and within the·archive is a beta version 1.7, which is fully functional.
