Basic Stamp 2p interfacing with EZKey

I have an EZKey keyboard adaptor that I have been using on a BS2.· I have been using it to read barcodes scanned by a barcode reader with a PS/2 connection.· I just upgraded to a BS2p and the code no longer works, and yes I did change the directives.· Do I need to adjust the baud rates to get it to work?
