Does anyone suggest drivers for five LED Matrix Displays?
Here is a link to the LED Matrix components:

My end goal is to have an intresting clock display for my desktop.
Ideas or suggestions?

What we do without you?! This is exactly what I was looking for. I guess if I have a whole mess of them (5x7 LED Matrix) I would have to buy a MAX7219 for each display?
I admit, I just scanned your Nuts & Volts... Going to print it out and take home to read tonight.
Thanks!

Works great - I can turn on a single LED, turn on two LEDs with different ON times (deparature and destination) or flash all 64 in a random pattern.
It takes 3 Stamp I/O lines for 64 LEDs.· With two more 595s and one more Stamp I/O line I could run 128.· The 64 LEDs indicate the airports I use in Flight Simulator from Burlington, VT, to San Diego.

Do you have a Stamp Tester yet?

I also have some LTP747 from Jameco which I beleive are common Anode and Jon's circuit calls for common Cathode so the 5x7 is actually a 7x5 dot matrix display - depending on how you look at it. I have attached·some modified versions of his circuit which uses the LTP747 for you to study. It does not use the joystick functionality.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks a bunch. I will have to check these out and see how I might be able to glean some of your wisdom.
