The following is the work being done:
ANTENNA -> RECEIVER -> ? -> STAMP -> SERIAL -> MAX/MSP Jitter
This is the equivalent to a variable Radio Frequency Field Strength Meter whose signals (noise and coherent transmissions) are displayed as abstract motion graphics, live on a computer.
This is a student work.· The student has general understanding of electronics and how to reasearch online and where to obtain parts.· The interest is not is communication and set protocols but rather to be able to detect variations in active frequencies as variable voltage.·
Looking for ways to create analog input of [ie. an AM signal]·to precise analog numerical output·by the stamp.·
Working in the 50-3000MHz range of various receivers, I would be grateful to pointers for how to have the stamp understand the incoming miniscule frequencies.·
The latest direction is towards using an OP AMP and an ADC and coding PULSIN.· Where is it possible to gather schematic information?·
Cheers,
M
