Sending and receiving data from Excel

Hi Everyone!!
I recently discoverd the StampDAQ for windows excel. It's working excellent and enables me to send data. However I wonder if it's possible to send data back through the serialport from excel. You see, I need to process some of the info and then send it back to the STAMP to use it for navigation. The DAQ uses the VB function inside Excel to receive data and I wonder if there is and application doing the opposite, sending it.
