Mac an USB Boebot problem.

I can't seem to get my BOE-BOT connected to my computers (Power Mac G5 w/ 10.4.4 running.. or Laptop G4 w/ 10.4.4 running). I have tried different cables (USB A to Mini A) and multiple systems, no luck. The BOE-BOT unit will connect to my ThinkPad just fine so I know it works. By connection I mean that the Stamp Editor cannot identify the STAMP or even see the USB port in the application pull down. I have downloaded the Mac Stamp Editor version MacBS2 2.0b13 and download and installed FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_0_1.dmg, then when I launched the Stamp Editor a window prompted me to downgrade to the FTDIUSBSerialDriver 1.0.9.dmg. I followed all the procedures, Still no port specified in the Stamp Editor and the application has no ability to connect to the stamp.
Please help.

    What kind of USBtoSerial adapter are you using?

    I've got an IMAC...with more than one USB port...have you specified what port you're using?

    Does the FTDI adapter register when you launch the Apple System Profiler and click on USB?

    I see the USB port as being connected to a USB <-> Serial

    info on it shows this:

    USB <-> Serial:

    Version: 4.00
    Bus Power (mA): 500
    Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
    Manufacturer: FTDI
    Product ID: 0x6001
    Vendor ID: 0x0403

    Oh, and I am not using an adapter since the BoeBot is UBS. I plug it directly into the USB port 1.

    Hmm, it looks like it should work. I'd email the author of MacBS2 - maybe he can provide more insight into the problem.

    The newest update of the Macintosh compiler fixed the issue. I do ot know why but it works now.
