Hello,
· I have a Bs2 on a serial·BOE development board, and I have a laptop which only has a USB connection.· Instead of buying a new board, I would like to find a cable which converts the USB output to serial - if there is such a thing.· Does anyone know of such a device/adapter?· I needs to work with windows xp.
thanks

Here is the adapter that you need, right on the Parallax web site:

Please be aware that there are other USB to Serial adapters on the market, many at lower prices. Those less expensive adapters may or may not completely support all of the RS-232 control lines and signals. If they don't they probably won't work properly to program a Stamp. The unit that Parallax sells has been tested with all of the Stamp models using all of the various development boards, and it works flawlessly with all of them.
