·I have come up against a problem I can not solve. Using F876's, Have 4 in a net. 3 work flawlessly and one consistantly gives me a framming error every time. Since I am using the onboard USART it is not a software timing problem. Have tried 4 different pic's all with the same result. Tried different xtals, different wiring,(twisted and strait). Have rechecked the voltages on both sides. Have pulled most of my hair out! Please HELP. Have purchased easy pic'n, pic'n up the pace, and serial pic'n, but see no more than a mention of FERR, and that pertains to bit-bang apps. HELP! HELP!

Can you easily swap the bad one for the good one and see if it's a location thing? Electrically noisey area? Bad cable run? Cable picking up noise?
