newbie needs help with basic stamp communications project

Hi. Im very new to basic stamp and need some help with this simple electronics project.
I've built this simple project from http://www.rentron.com/RF-Remote.htm·and I want to expand it to be able to either start up my car remotely·and·transmit my cars temperature (in the end I want to be able to remotely monitor/control a car) ive read from the website http://www.rentron.com/Stamp_RF.htm·and I have·very little experience with basic stamp, how would I go about this?

p.s. im very new to electronics and stamp, so I'd appreciate a simple explanation, any tutorial websites on stamp and rf communications would also help me out alot.

First·start small. For someone new to·and with no real experience in programming,electronic or RF,
your· project is pretty intense in those three areas. Have you considered a community college class or two?
