I have realized that the Search command issued on the forums does not work well. It misses some messages. For example, I have been searching for some message I placed·a month·ago which contained the word 'Europe' in it. This message does not appear in the listing! I have selected 'last year messages'. ·I have found similar missing messages on other searchs too.

typing in 'Europe' and 'inaki' I found 18 hits.

The one in the left sidebar is a SQL database search engine tool which mostly searches the product database and some downloads. It works, but it can't sort by relevance. If you use it to find BS2-IC you might find ten different kits with the BS2-IC, and scroll to the third page to find the BS2-IC module alone.
The Google search tool works far better, and will be installed on our new web site. It searches everything (including these forums) and provides ranking. The IT Guy bought a really nice big blue box from Google (did you know they sell hardware?) which indexes our web server regularly. This Google "box" was pretty expensive, so it should work really well! You can access the Google hardware by clicking on the "Or Try Your Search with Google".

For example, my last search is about a message I placed about printing with an IR printer. Someone told me that Circuit Cellar published a solution in an issue that I don't remember. I have been looking for 'print', 'printing', 'printer' etc, but have not found my message.
This is just an example, I have found similar problems with other messages as well.

If yes, here's how I found it:
1. Go to http://search.parallax.com
2. Click on Advanced Search
3. In the "with all of the words" field put: print ir
4. In the "with the exact phrase" field put: circuit cellar
5. Set Domains to Only and put this in the domain field: forums.parallax.com
Now click Google Search.
