New to this form, and need a little help, I looking to control 3 sets of two motors each, with 4 feed back switches, Love to monitor load on motors and switch based on load, and all of this using a laptop/PC based controller.· The application needs to be flexible, and attractive for the end user. The motors need to be around 130RPM, 12VDC, and aprox.70in Lbs.· With a 90% box.· Help, Help, Help, Help1

I believe NASA JPL use these or similar for their robotics drivers.
You could (and I plan to) build a nice PCB with 4 of these (or more) and use an SX to control via RS232/RS485/i2c etc etc etc.

I'm not sure if this meets your requirements, just have a look at a board I once developed: www.parallax.com/sx/projects/projects_pwm.asp
