Problem conecting temperature sensor

I have a problem conecting the tempreture sensor. I dont really get it from the instructions since there is no step by step explanation. The diagram shows a sqaure with 8 pins. How do i place the sensor on the board and how do i make conections. Im very knew at this so please go easy on me [noparse]:)[/noparse] i found the resistors and all. Thanks alot.

    Without knowing what temperature sensor you are using (i.e. a part number) it's hard to determine what exactly it is that you may be having problems with.
    Also, a more descriptive subject line might generate a better response.

    SHT11 Sensor Module is the sensor, part number #28018.

    Looking at the digram that came with the Sensor It says that it needs to be conected to Clock and at same time to Vss with 4.7 resistor? Where is the clock? why does it say Vss? What about Data? how do i connect to that? What about the Vdd on square #8, What aboutvthe resistors inside the sensor, do i have to plan them 2? What are these 8 squares? Hw do i insert the detector on the basic stamp pins?


    Here are some of my unanswered questions.

    Later i tried to do it on my own and here is what i got:


    Square four went to a VSS
    Square 3 went simply to pin 0 with resistor 4.7
    Square one went to Pin 1
    Square 8 went to Vdd

    I used square cause i dont know how to call that
