Question about External Memory

I was wondering about interfacing a USB memory stick, you know, the ones on key chains and such, with the Javelin so it can store a large amount of data. Is this something that would do-able? I've looked for a USB interface chip, but all I can find, at least on parallax, is for USB to Serial. I'm still doing research, but I was wondering if anyone has had success with this. Eventually, I'd like to store pics taken by the CMUcam1 directly onto a removable USB memstick. Thanks for your time!
