angle sensor

I know this will be way off, but got to try. I am looking for a angle sensor for my 10" table saw. I make meny angle cuts and I would like to make them right. I just need something that can go from 0 degs to 45 degs. I am looking for something that I can hook up to a BS2 and display on a LED display using a MAX7219. And as I set the angle the display will tell me my angle.

Thanks
T.C.

PS. Happy New Year

    Hello,

·· For something with degree accuracy, you'll need some sort of encoder.· Depending on the resolution, you could calibrate it for 0-45 degrees or even 0-90 degrees no problem.· Heck, always starting at 0 degrees, you could use a contiuous rotation device and have 360 degrees if that were possible with a table saw.· =)
