Disassembling a Parallax continuous rotation servo

I have a project idea which involves replacing the control board in a servo. I have a couple Parallax continuous rotation servos, but Im a little stumped at how to fully dissasmble them. I can get to removing the internal gears and removing the backplate covering the circuit board, but I cannot figure out how to proceed beyond this point. Any guidelines on completely dissasembling it without damaging the plastic housing?

Also as an aside is the feedback potentiometer still in these servos or have they been removed since they are not used?

I found this link that has lots of pictures with each step of modifying a tower hobbies servo which is very similar to the Parallax servo. Although your servo is already a continuously rotating servo, it might give you some answers.

And this link talks about removing the pc board. Sounds like you will need to desolder some pins.

Not my thing, but looks like the pot is replaced with a voltage divider, fixed resistors on both sides. Some tutorials and pics here>>>>
